This study analyzed the use of sprinklered and non-sprinklered fire protection options in existing small Board and Care homes.Most of the 25 residents died upstairs as smoke prevented their progress down the primary interior stairwell. From the trends in Table 3 it is evident that a#39; appropriately implementeda#39; evacuation programs significantly improve Baamp;C life safety.
