Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoon instant beef bouillon granules
- 1 1/2 cup hot water
Preparation:
- Melt butter in a saucepan.
- Stir in flour.
- Cook and stir over medium low heat for 15 to 20 minutes or until browned.
- Dissolve bouillon granules in hot water and add to flour mixture.
- Bring to boiling stirring constantly. Boil for 3 to 5 minutes.
- Reduce heat and simmer about 30 minutes or until reduced to 1 cup liquid, stirring frequently.
- Serve with meat or use instead of gravy.
