Ingredients

1 teaspoon grated onion
3 tablespoons butter or margarine
3 tablespoons flour
1 cup cream
1 teaspoon beef extract
salt and pepper

Preparation:

• Brown onion slightly in butter.
• Stir in flour.
• Pour in cream gradually, stirring constantly, cook until slightly thickened.
• Season with beef extract, salt and pepper and cook about 2 minutes longer.
